Andrew King
Andrew is a well known and respected property advisor who has developed his own wealth through property and has the skills, expertise and research to help you develop your own path to wealth. Andrew says that people often ask “what is the best way to invest in property” however there is no one best way. There is often a best way for individuals, however, and this is what Andrew helps people to discover fro themselves.
Andrew has had a love of property since child hood when he would draw and make models of houses for entertainment. Combined with a healthy regard for finance, it was no surprise that he had purchased his own home and an investment property by the time he was 24.
Since then Andrew has used property to build a lifestyle that he is in control of. While he believes property should be sold reluctantly, he also believes that property is something to enhance your life and if selling a property can help achieve this, then do it.
Andrew’s Property and Business background, plus his ability to assess what property investors needed to help make their investments a success, lead him to create the Auckland Landlord in 1996. Through the practical and unbiased information it contained, this successful venture developed quickly into a highly successful and well respected national magazine, Residential Property Investor, which he eventually sold in 2002.
The magazine was immensely popular with many Property Investor Associations around the country and Andrew developed a passion for these associations and the benefits they bring all investors. He has contributed a great deal of time to the industry through being a committee member of the Auckland Property Investors Association for seven years and President for five. He has recently been elected to the Executive of the Property Investors Federation.
After selling the magazine, Andrew co-authored the best selling book, the Complete Guide to Residential Property in New Zealand . This was followed with a second best seller, Planning for Property Success , which helped readers to develop their own personal Property Business Plan.
Through his media background and high level of independent expertise, Andrew has been in high demand by various media to comment on the industry and the property market. He has spoken on radio and written for magazines and newspapers, plus appeared on many television items and property related documentaries. As he doesn’t sell property in any way, he is seen as independent as well as highly knowledgeable.
Andrew has also helped hundreds of investors through personal consultations and has developed tools that greatly help individuals to assess their current situation, establish what they want from property and work with Andrew to develop sound strategies to help ensure they achieve their goals. These tools also help investors to write their plans down, providing clarity, confidence and direction. All this helps investors to either get started on their road to wealth through property, or shows them different and more efficient and safer ways for them to achieve their goals.
As his services are personalised, Andrew can help a variety of investors from different backgrounds with different personal circumstances.
